There are 6 spatial degrees of freedom for an avatar,
and 3 alternated methods to navigate:
- with the mouse inside the 3D area
- with the keyboard
- with the buttons inside the GUI
Press the left button of the mouse and keep it pressed,
a translucid control menu appears in the 3D area with
arrows indicating directions. So, by moving the mouse you
can easily navigate. You must keep the focus inside the 3D area.
Use the arrow keys on your keyboard:
On the bottom of the GUI, you can use buttons represented by arrows
to navigate in all the directions, the focus must keep in the GUI area.
To identify objects, click on the <button1> or <button3> of the mouse, the name
of the pointed object will appear, maybe with a pushdown menu containing buttons
to activate an action on this object (for example open/close for a door).
Web objects can be displayed in a scene as an exhibition room and
eventually be opened with a local browser to visit related Web pages.
